Abby Stassen is a writer and editor living in Orlando, Florida. A Chicago native, Abby earned her bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan. She is also a graduate of Second City Chicago’s comedy sketch-writing program and a winner of Second City’s Works by Women Festival Writer’s Award.
Abby is a lifelong storyteller with an eclectic background in fiction, journalism, comedy writing, copywriting, and content writing. She has previously written for The Michigan Daily, The Orlando Weekly, and Orlando Magazine.
She is currently a Senior Staff Writer at Full Sail University, where she writes web and print content. She specializes in writing about movies, television, and film technology. When she is not writing, Abby is birding, playing Nintendo, and hanging out with her cat Artemis.
